Description

This is the emotional story of Fa’iza, a simple, religious woman with little formal education, who finds herself in a difficult and loveless marriage to Yaya Ishaq, a wealthy, well-educated, and respected government official working in Abuja. Ishaq is known for his class, elegance, and high standards—but he is deeply unhappy in his marriage, seeing Fa’iza as a woman who doesn’t match his dreams or lifestyle.

After spending time away in Abuja, Ishaq returns to his home in Katsina only to find his house in disarray—his children have made a mess, and his wife seems unaware of his arrival. This fuels his frustration, leading to a tense confrontation filled with hurtful words and silent pain. Despite her efforts to care for the children, keep the home, and prepare his food with love, Fa’iza’s presence only seems to remind Ishaq of the future he wished he had.
